HAPPINESS - PART 4 OF 4

Hello Readers,

Over the past several weeks I’ve discussed what the definition of Happiness is, what it means to you, provided tips on how I maintain my happiness and ways in which these tips and advise provide inspiration and are relatable to you in your daily life.

At the beginning of these blogs I encouraged you to take The Happiness Test.  Did you track your original score and compare it to now? What were your results? My original score was 82 ‘Getting There’ and recently I took the test and scored 92. Below is a summary:

Score of 84 to 100 points: Call to joy - Inside each of us is a call to joy. The more you answer this call, the more you discover the truth of who you are, what is important and what your life is for. By following your joy, you experience the fullness of your being and you discover a depth of creativity and talent that inspires the world. People who follow their joy are the renaissance workers who evolve the consciousness of humanity. It’s time to answer the call!

In conclusion, I’ve focused on being more present, concentrating on what I can control vs what I can’t control, my well-being and taking time to relax. We are always so hell bent on what's next and on the future that we lose focus on what is important now. We then lose time and energy on things that we think are important when in the grand scheme of life, it wasn’t that big of deal in the first place.

Learning to let go of what we can’t control and concentrating on what matters now, makes decisions for the future easier and more clear. Happiness comes in all shapes and sizes, it's just a matter of what it means to you, finding that happy medium and maintaining it.
