EMOTIONAL STRENGTH - PART 2

Our mental strength drives our emotional strength, so similarly we must continuously seek to develop the way we cope with our emotions. Through experiencing challenging situations and effectively working through the emotions, whether they are positive or negative, we become mindful of the effect our emotions have on our behaviour and on others. It is not wrong to feel negative emotions, it is simply how we work through these difficult experiences that shapes our growth and develops strength.

Establishing and setting my goals and targets for my mental state then drove my emotions.

When I felt mentally strong during that 6-week period, I was positive, I had a can-do attitude, I was happy and motivated. However, sometimes I felt tired, lethargic and drained. I knew on the days I was feeling down that I had to remember my WHY, my COMMITMENT and to deliver not for others but for MYSELF, and that I could and would accomplish what I set my mind to.
